Flagey Piano Days 2023

For this festive tenth anniversary of the Flagey Piano Days, we are once again proud to present world-renowned pianists - Jonathan Fournel, Boris Giltburg, Lukaš Vondraček - as well as young rising stars sprouting from the fruitful collaboration between Flagey and the Queen Elisabeth Competition. 

During five intense days, talents from all over the world blend musical classics with other influences. Exceptional pianists push their artistic boundaries and invite us into their colourful and fascinating world. 

This edition pays tribute to Sergei Rachmaninov and his 150th birthday with three concerts. Besides the classical recitals, the festival also explores the dynamics and emotion of jazz, starting with a concert by the great South African pianist Abdullah Ibrahim. 
 
And finally, to marry virtuosity and transmission, we welcome the exceptional performer and passionate teacher Elisso Virsaladze for a grand closing concert.
