Busch Trio
Beethoven Piano Trios
"The leading piano trio of their generation" is how the Süddeutsche Zeitung describes the young trio, which has already won several prizes at chamber music competitions. The Busch Trio is named after the violinist and composer Anton Busch, whose violin is played by Van Bellen. After the piano trios of Dvořák and Schubert, they now devote themselves to the integral recording of Ludwig van Beethoven's musical works for piano trio. Recording the five albums at Flagey, they now perform the first concert of the this series, featuring the Piano Trio in E-flat major, op. 1/1 and the Piano Trio in E-flat major, op. 70/2.
