Yoav Levanon

The rise of Yoav Levanon in the musical world impressed everyone. He started playing the piano at the age of three, performed at Carnegie Hall three years later, and at eleven, he gave a successful performance of Chopin's First Piano Concerto at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. For the first time at Flagey, the young piano virtuoso, only in his early twenties and a protégé of Daniel Barenboim, showcases his technical skill and interpretative finesse as he effortlessly moves between the hieratic style of Bach and the notorious difficulties of Liszt and Chopin’s Études.
