An Evening with Branford Marsalis

Branford is a member of the famous Marsalis jazz family. He played with Sting and Miles Davis, founded Buckshot LeFonque and was bandleader of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. But his most important project is his quartet, which has been performing world-class jazz for almost forty years. Recently, the tenor saxophonist has increasingly focused on classical music, performing with top orchestras worldwide. This also benefits his quartet, because ‘the best way to play new music is to get to the bottom of old music’, says Marsalis. Curious what kind of mastery they will show at Flagey?
