Colette and Raphaël propose stories sketched on the sand that swirls in the air, as tales and images intertwine and follow one another in a subtle game.
With his strange-sounding songs and instruments from the four corners of the earth, Raphaël creates acoustic and sonic landscapes, some of them improvised, revealing enchanting impressions of legends, myths, philosophical tales and imaginary beings...
Under Colette's magical fingers, a number of fables will be revealed, including The Ugly Duckling (Hans Christian Andersen), The Little Snow White Bird (a love song from the 16th century), Captain Nemo's Treasure (Jules Verne), The Legend of the Discovery of Silk (an extract from the writings of Confucius) and a presentation of the Four Elements (Empedocles).
Colette Dedyn is a painter and sand artist who creates patterns on a luminous glass table, guided by music. These are recorded by a camera and projected live onto a large screen. She has taken part in Belgium's Got Talent and is asked all over the world to accompany renowned orchestras.
Raphaël De Cock, singer and multi-instrumentalist, takes part in various Belgian and international musical projects and is a benchmark performer of traditional songs and vocal techniques.
