Dounia, le Grand Pays blanc

Dounia, a little girl who has fled Syria, moves to Canada with her grandparents. She discovers the cold and an unknown culture, but also the customs of the Québécoise Rosalie and the indigenous Miguizou. Scarred by war and her father’s absence, she hopes to find her way back to him through the beating of her heart.
