Dracula: Dead and Loving It
Mel Brooks
Finding no more female victims in Transylvania, Count Dracula travels to England in search of fresh blood. Sixty years after Tod Browning and Bela Lugosi, the legend of Dracula is reworked by Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielsen into a parody full of slapstick comedy. The production values and the look of the film, however, attest to the director’s respect for the original.
