Angelo Moustapha

The Benin drummer, percussionist and composer Angelo Moustapha was nominated in 2017 as one of the "Meilleurs Instrumentistes d'Afrique" (MIA). He is praised for his style with influences from the "afro jazz", the "afro groove" and the "jazz fusion". He spent the last few months in Brussels and performed at Flagey together with Belgian jazz guitarist Philip Catherine. His performance made such a deep impression that we invite him again for a unique solo set on African percussion instruments.
