With his Kremerata Baltica, violinist Gidon Kremer gathers around him young talents from the three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This year the ensemble celebrates its 25th anniversary and the 75th birthday of the famous violinist in Flagey during the Baltic Sea Festival. Kremer and his ensemble perform a Baltic-coloured programme with a great deal of music written especially for them and invite some special soloists: Let Georgijs Osokins, finalist of the International Moscow Frederick Chopin Competition for Young Pianists (2014) and the virtuoso Ukrainian vibraphonist Andrei Pushkarev.
