Vitaly Samoshko

Vitaly Samoshko, the big winner of the 1999 Queen Elisabeth Music Competition, decided to stay in Belgium after his victory. Since then he has been training new generations of young pianists, as a passionate teacher and pianist at the Conservatory of Ghent. His performances have lost none of their impressive virtuosity, emotionality and intensity. So it is with great anticipation that we welcome this first recital of the Flagey Piano Days with music by Chopin and some of Samoshko's beloved Russian composers Scriabin and Prokofiev.
