In our time of recycling and upcycling, Saskia Lankhoorn presents musical treasures from the past, unravelled, stripped of tradition and viewed with a contemporary eye. With Between the Lines, Saskia creates a world where past and present meet through the use of amplified piano, laptop and layered piano playing . Thom Yorke sings '...slow down' in the song The Tourist and these words form the basis of the programme in which, by slowing down the tempo, a new space is created for harmonies, melodies and chords to be (re)experienced in an intense and personal way.
