Claude François
In Le Palais des Merveilles, the imposing Palais de Justice is temporarily transformed into a place of dreams. Le Pavillon des passions humaines (1989) offers us a glimpse of Jef Lambeaux’s censored work through the subterfuge of fiction. Charles et Félicien (1994) tells a new story about Baudelaire and Rops. Une journée ordinaire (2004) challenges the viewer’s relationship with the work. And in Le pavillon des douze (2017) twelve paintings are reinvented through the magic of poetry.
